John S. Prisco Named CAI NJ’s “Author of the Year”
Becker is proud to announce that shareholder John S. Prisco has been honored as “Author of the Year” by the New Jersey Chapter of the Community Associations Institute (CAI-NJ). This recognition highlights John’s insightful article, “Master Deeds, Declarations, and Bylaws: Oh My! A Guide to Community Association Governance in New Jersey,” published in the June 2024 issue of Community Trends.
This award adds to John’s impressive list of accolades, including being named “Speaker of the Year” by CAI-NJ in 2024 for his leadership in the November 2023 webinar, “Preparing for the Future—Continuity Planning for Community Associations.” In this webinar, John provided guidance on disaster preparedness, emphasizing the importance of developing and implementing comprehensive plans to safeguard communities against potential crises. He was also recognized as CAI-NJ’s “Author of the Year” in 2022.
Based in Becker’s Morristown, New Jersey office, John specializes in Community Association Law, Construction Law & Litigation, and Business Litigation. A frequent speaker and author on community association topics, he has presented at many industry events, including the New Jersey Cooperator and IREM’s Tri-State Expo and Conference.
John actively contributes to the industry as a CAI Advocacy Ambassador, an Educated Business Partner, and a member of the CAI-NJ Business Partner Committee.
